It&rsquo;s a fixed appliance&nbsp;that is used for a protrusion of the lower jaw (Angle-Class II, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.madsen.de\/en\/lexikon\/distal-occlusion\/\">distal occlusion<\/a>). Initial studies have shown that the results are as good as with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.madsen.de\/en\/lexikon\/herbst-appliance\/\" target=\"_self\" title=\"The Herbst-Appliance is a fixed brace used for the treatment of the retruded lower jaw (Angle Class II).
