With neutral <a href=\"https:\/\/www.madsen.de\/en\/lexikon\/occlusion\/\">occlusion<\/a>, the lower 1st <a href=\"https:\/\/www.madsen.de\/en\/lexikon\/molars\/\">molars<\/a> are about 3-4mm in front of the upper ones producing an ideal cusp-fossa contact relationship. Neutral occlusion also entails a normal horizontal and vertical incisors&rsquo; overbite of 2-4mm.
