Regarding the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.madsen.de\/en\/lexikon\/neutral-occlusion\/\">neutral occlusion<\/a> the overbite shows a range from 2mm to 4mm. A large overbite is a sign for retrognathism of the lower jaw (distocclusion, Angle Class II), a reduced and incorrect overbite is a sign for a mandibular overbite (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.madsen.de\/en\/lexikon\/mesial-occlusion\/\">mesial occlusion<\/a>, Angle Class III).
