These include fitting of jaw models into an articulator, possibly preceded by measuring with an asymmetric headgear and numerous computer-aided procedures to track the trajectory of the lower jaw. Some of these procedures are interesting from a scientific point of view but generally contribute nothing of any significance to the diagnosis and treatment of CMD.
