Hygiene<\/h1>

Hygiene is a top priority in our practice in Mannheim, because even as an orthodontist<\/a> it is important to avoid infections in the practice. We therefore do more for the cleanliness and safety of our patients than just comply with the legal regulations.<\/p>

At least one member of staff has an additional qualification as a sterile goods officer, which is actually only required in clinics.<\/p>

Of course, we only use the most modern equipment for the reprocessing and sterilisation of our instruments. Even for the critical reprocessing of contra-angles, we have a high-tech device, the DAC, which ensures hygiene and care at the same time.<\/p>

Germ-free Water in our Practice<\/h2>

We have done something about a major hygienic weak point – the water at the dentist’s chairs. In our orthodontic practice, this water is lightly chlorinated, just like a waterworks or swimming pool does. The chlorine is added in exact doses and constantly monitored so that we can guarantee germ-free water.<\/p>

For this we work together with the company BLUE SAFETY, which offers the best concept for water hygiene in dental practices (bluesafety.com<\/a>). We as orthodontists are convinced that drinking water chlorination will be mandatory in dental practices in a few years.<\/p>

Particularly important at the moment with the Corona crisis: chlorination also helps against viruses. Thanks to the constant care we have received a certificate for controlled water hygiene from BLUE SAFETY.<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
